The discussion touched on memory, philosophy, and the contemporary challenges facing democracy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"465\" data-end=\"733\">In <em data-start=\"468\" data-end=\"489\">The Ukrainian Night<\/em>, Shore offers a deeply personal and philosophical account of the 2013\u20132014 Maidan Revolution in Ukraine, blending intellectual history with eyewitness testimony to explore how ordinary people were transformed by extraordinary political events.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"735\" data-end=\"1073\">This meeting was part of the international conference <strong data-start=\"789\" data-end=\"850\">\u201cArendtian Counciliarism: Visions and Care for Democracy\u201d<\/strong>(June 25\u201327), hosted by the <strong data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"903\">Arendt Center Verona<\/strong>.
