Witches are also used as central figures in feminist and anti-capitalist theory to think about bodies and subjectivity, as well as oppression and desire. Throughout the work of Luciano Parinetto, Luisa Muraro and Silvia Federici, witches become powerful individualities, symbols of alternative communities.
