She gained her PhD at the Scuola Normale Superiore (Pisa), after graduating from the same institution. <\/span>Her area of expertise is the cultural history of the\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-GB\">Ancient Mediterranean<\/span>, with a focus on<span lang=\"EN-GB\"> religion, material culture, and cognitive psychology. Her publications investigate <\/span>gender<span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0and queerness<\/span>,<span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0minds and bodies in magic, health and\u00a0healing rituals,<\/span>\u00a0emotion and<span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u00a0<\/span>embodi<span lang=\"EN-GB\">ed cognition.
