Current methodologies in developmental speech & language studies

The seminar will be held by Irene Lorenzini, PhD (Laboratoire de Psychologie de la Perception, Université Paris Descartes, FR), in the PhD students’ room- Zorzi building, Lungadige Porta Vittoria 17, Verona.

Irene Lorenzini, PhD, is a Postdoc Researcher at the Integrated Neuroscience and Cognition Center, Equipe « Langage et Cognition ». She is interested in speech & language as situated phenomena, co-existing and interacting with other neurobiological abilities (or disabilities). She is currently investigating in these fields: a) the relationship between sensorimotor development and speech perception in typical and atypical populations of children and infants; b) the relationship between central cognitive capacities and sensory processes in speech perception.
