The research units leaders and their collaborators met on 1 and 2 October 2019 in Verona to launch the RE-SERVES project

The first day was used to begin building a common language and methodology, outline the research actions that each unit will pursue during the course of the project, discuss issues of common interest, and share operational procedures, including obtaining approval from the Ethics Committees of the respective University departments.

The following day the group participated in its first internal seminar, designed as an opportunity to gain familiarity with and discuss the Systematic Review in which the four research units will be engaged in the first few months of the project.

The seminar was conducted by Rita Marzoli, head of the Library and Documentation Centre of INVALSI (Istituto nazionale per la valutazione del sistema educativo di istruzione e di formazione, National Institute for the Evaluation of the Education and Training System) and Luca Ghirotto, researcher at the University of Verona Department of Human Sciences.

State of the art on Systematic Reviews. On 7 and 8 April 2020, the second project meeting was held via ZOOM due to the COVID19 emergency

The second project meeting, initially scheduled to take place on the University Suor Orsola Benincasa campus in Naples, was held on 7 and 8 April 2020 using the ZOOM platform due to the COVID19 emergency.

The main objectives of the meeting were to discuss and exchange views about the state of the art of the Systematic Reviews that each unit is carrying out as part of its research action.

Following the first internal seminar (Verona, 1 and 2 October 2019), the units had been working under the supervision of Rita Marzoli (INVALSI) and Luca Ghirotto (UNIVR) to identify the review question, conduct bibliographic research on the different databases, select the sources to be included in the review and reach the final phase of analyzing the documents. In the coming months the units will complete the work of writing their reviews.

Although held remotely, the meeting was an effective means of collecting useful suggestions from colleagues and supervisors to continue the work of research and analysis.
