Call for Abstracts: European Workshop on Algorithmic Fairness – June 8-9, 2022, Zurich

We, researchers at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences, University of Zurich, and Politecnico di Milano, are organizing a workshop aimed at bringing the European research community on algorithmic fairness togetherthe European Workshop on Algorithmic Fairness (EWAF). Our goal is to provide a space for researchers who are based in Europe or who are otherwise linked to Europe to connect and discuss the status of algorithmic fairness. The workshop is scheduled to take place on June 8 and 9, 2022 in Zurich (if the pandemic situation allows and online otherwise).
We will have two submission tracks, depending on whether you want to contribute a full paper for an in-depth discussion or an abstract for a short lightning round presentation. In both cases, the abstract deadline is on January 31, 2022. You can submit abstracts of up to 1000 words here:
You can find the full Call for Papers as well as details on our envisioned workshop format on our website: https://sites.google.com/view/ewaf22/.
If you’re interested in joining the workshop and would like to join our emailing list to be kept up to date, please fill out this form. We will decide which contributions will be discussed in greater depth through a community voting process. Filling out the form will also allow you to participate in this voting process.
