Fifty (+1) years after the publication of the essay Dalla parte delle bambine (On the side of the girls), internationally considered a manifesto of feminist pedagogy, the research centres Arendt, Genie and PoliTeSSe are organising the conference ‘Con Elena Gianini Belotti: Dalla parte dell’educazione di genere’ (With Elena Gianini Belotti: On the Side of Gender Education), which will not only be a celebration of her brilliant author, but a reflection on gender education today. The conference is organised in collaboration with Rete insegnanti & educatrici/tori LGBTQI+ Mariasilvia Spolato and CESP, Centro studi per la Scuola Pubblica, an accredited body for the training of school personnel.
