Federico Trastulli is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Political Science (SPS/04) at the Department of Human Sciences of the University of Verona, where he works on the “Assessing obstacles and inequalities in gender and LGBT+ political leadership and careers: an intersectional perspective (GENPOLEAD)” research project.
His research interests concern political parties, voting behaviour, and the dimensions of political contestation, particularly with regard to socioeconomic (e.g., left parties and working-class voters) and sociocultural conflicts (e.g., on Europe, gender and sexuality, and the environment).
He is a member of the Italian Centre for Electoral Studies (Centro Italiano Studi Elettorali – CISE) and a PhD Candidate at the Department of Political Science of LUISS Guido Carli University. È stato precedentemente Visiting Doctoral Researcher presso il CEVIPOF di Sciences Po a Parigi. He was previously Visiting Doctoral Researcher at CEVIPOF, Sciences Po Paris. He obtained an MSc in Global Europe: Culture and Conflict (European Studies) at the London School of Economics and Political Science and a bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences and International Relations at Sapienza University of Rome.
