On Friday, September 25, starting at 2:00 PM, the EU-funded “RE-RIGHTING” project—supported by a Marie Skłodowska-Curie research grant—will be showcased in Verona’s Piazza dei Signori as part of European Researchers’ Night, with project researcher Natascia Tosel in attendance. In the legal realm, women often struggle to make their voices heard, and their experiences are frequently marginalized. Historically, the courtroom setting—a crucial focus of feminist theory—has excluded women’s perspectives. Supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions program, the RE-RIGHTING project aims to redefine this narrative. By equipping women with the tools to engage with legal language and conduct alternative proceedings from their own specific viewpoints, the project seeks to challenge the limitations of the legal system and offer new pathways to justice. Through an analysis of feminist narratives and performance practices, the project aims to create a comprehensive archive and explore how key legal concepts are being redefined.
