The Hannah Arendt Consortium at the University of Cambridge invites scholars to sumbit abstracts for the workshop Exile and Statelessness: Dialogues with and beyond Hannah Arendt, scheduled for March 26, 2025, at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge.
We welcome contributions addressing a wide range of topics, including the relationship between statelessness and nationalism, the dynamics of diasporic communities, Arendt’s reflections on the nation-state, and the construction of political identity. Submissions engaging with or critically reassessing Arendtian frameworks are particularly encouraged.
Proposals should include an abstract of no more than 300 words, along with the author’s name, institutional affiliation, and contact details. Abstracts must be submitted in PDF or Word format via the official workshop website: www.arendtcentrecambridge.com/cfp/.
