COCAI was one of the protagonists of Tocatì 2025, the International Street Games Festival held in Verona from 19 to 21 September, with a special event on 18 September in collaboration with the University of Verona. The meeting, held in room SMT06 of the former Provianda, Polo S. Marta, in Via Cantarane 24, was dedicated to the presentation of the guide ‘La Veronetta del Tocatì. Points of historical and architectural interest’, edited by the University of Verona, and the interactive game “Find the differences”, designed to help visitors discover the Veronetta district in a fun and creative way.
The guide “La Veronetta del Tocatì. Points of historical and architectural interest” is a publication produced for the 23rd edition of the festival. The project was curated by AGILE Aps and COCAI Aps, with texts and photographs by Michele De Mori, architect and president of AGILE Aps, and Pierluigi Grigoletti. It includes 57 fact sheets describing the main points of historical and architectural interest in the Veronetta district, the beating heart of university and city life. Each fact sheet is accompanied by historical photographs that compare the current appearance of the buildings with their historical versions, thus offering a playful and educational interpretation of the area.
The initiative represented an important opportunity to rediscover a part of the city’s history, transforming the streets of Veronetta into an open-air museum. The guide was presented to the public on 18 September 2025 and distributed during the festival. To consult the guide in PDF format, you can download it from the official Tocatì website.
