What is the relationship between life and urban design? The increasingly rapid and complex evolution of urban centers and the networks they are part of requires a new way of thinking about the city and a new way of designing it.

Starting from some theoretical and practical nodes that today pose a challenge for design: the concrete bodies that animate urban life, the dynamic boundaries that define its spaces, the chains that are established between moving points and centers. What does it mean to inhabit an ever-evolving urban space?

This series of meetings is the result of collaboration between “Tiresia” research center and the “Hannah Arendt” Center for Political Studies.

The first two appointments of the series will revolve around the concepts of “Abitare” and “Corpi.” They will take place on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, and Tuesday, December 3, 2024, both at 6 PM in classroom SMT.06, Santa Marta Campus (Via Cantatane 24, Verona).

The last two appointments of the series will revolve around the concepts of “Concatenamenti” and “Confini.” They will take place on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, and Thursday, February 6, 2025, both at 6 PM in classroom SMT.06, Santa Marta Campus (Via Cantatane 24, Verona).
