This weekend we were in Brussels for the launch of the Hannah Arendt Network!
The Hannah Arendt Network for Democratic Resilience and Renewal is a newly founded European alliance dedicated to protecting and revitalizing democratic values and institutions. Inspired by Arendt’s legacy, the network promotes pluralism, critical thinking, civic engagement, and the power of public dialogue.
Together with founding centers in New York, Dresden, and Mechelen, the network brings together mission-aligned organizations and independent voices to resist anti-pluralism and autocratization.
Our work focuses on key themes like:
• Democracy & Migration
• Democracy & Police
• Civil society & public institutions
• Education, media literacy & international exchange
Through workshops, forums, and collective initiatives, we aim to empower citizens and foster a democratic culture that can adapt and thrive in the face of challenges.
