On June 26, 2025, the second session of the meeting series was held, dedicated to an in-depth exploration of some central themes in Hannah Arendt’s political thought.
The discussions focused on concepts such as freedom, councilism, democratic participation, and federalism, analyzed both in their theoretical dimension and their possible contemporary relevance.
The sequence of stimulating events allowed for a combination of analytical rigor and openness to dialogue, offering critical insights for rethinking the forms of contemporary politics based on Arendt’s legacy. In particular, interesting parallels were drawn with other thinkers, highlighting convergences and differences in conceptions of the public sphere and the role of collective action.
Sincere thanks to all the speakers for their contributions, which enriched the dialogue and fostered a shared reflection
