Friday, June 27, 2025 marked the third and final day of the Arendtian cycle.
With the conclusion of this three-day journey dedicated to Hannah Arendt’s counciliar vision, the idea was reaffirmed that democracy demands the active participation of all. It is a collective commitment to be nurtured and extended—one aimed at the care of the world we hold in common.
During the day, a workshop was held with Professor Roger Berkowitz (Bard College), joined by Claudia Chwalisz (Founder and CEO of DemocracyNext) and David Van Reybrouck (author of Against Elections).
This was followed by an online session with Shmuel Lederman (University of Haifa) in conversation with Matteo Bortolini (University of Padua), along with many other contributions from scholars and intellectuals engaged with these themes.
A sincere thank you to all those who took part in this initiative—speakers, participants, and supporters—for sharing questions, perspectives, and visions that helped to foster a vibrant and meaningful dialogue around Arendt’s thought.
