Matteo Zanetti

Matteo Zanetti is a PhD candidate in Bioethics and Moral Philosophy at the University of Verona. He received his bachelor’s degree in 2016 from the same university and his master’s in 2018 from the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. In 2020 he won a training scholarship at the Italian Institute of Philosophical Studies in Naples. In 2021 he attended a Master’s degree entitled “Giornalismo Multimediale Economico Politico” organised by the 24 Ore Business School.

In 2018 he published an article in the journal Filosofia Italiana and in 2021 an article in Giornale di Metafisica.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

His research interest is chronic diseases, particularly how they change the medical practice and the physician-patient relationship. The topic of his PhD thesis is chronic kidney disease (CKD). It aims to identify the ethical issues related to CKD and to find an organisational proposal to manage the ever-increasing number of patients.
