The event is held to mark the Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) on 20 November, in conversation with Stephan Mills from the Intersexioni collective, and Mikael Poli and Chiara Cappelletti from Con-Te-Stare, the Transgender Support Desk of Padua.
Institutional greetings will be delivered by Lorenzo Bernini, Associate Professor at the University of Verona and Director of the PoliTeSse Research Centre.
The discussion will be moderated by Andrea Viceré and Alessia Zanchetta from Mercury LGBTQIA+.
The meeting aims not only to commemorate, but also to foster an open conversation on medicine, health, and access to healthcare from trans* and intersex perspectives.
