On 23 September 2014 the Academic Senate of the University of Verona approved the adoption of the double academic ID for trans* students. On this occasion, on 2 October 2014 a double book presentation on the topics of trans* identity and practices of transvestitism will take place at the University of Verona.

The story of Caterina Vizzani, who passed as a man during eight years so as to live out her (then illicit) desires for women, is discussed by the author with Prof. Gian Paolo Romagnani (history and anthropology) and Prof. Paola Di Nicola (sociology).

h. 17.30: Diritti in transito. La condizione giuridica delle persone transessuali (Prof. Anna Lorenzetti). From a juridical perspective, the book discusses the implications of transitioning in terms of health, family and work conditions. The author explores these questions in dialogue with Prof. Alessandra Cordiano (private law) and with Laurella Arietti (trans activist, Verona).
