On the occasion of the International Day Against Homo-Lesbo-Bi-Transphobia (May 17), the Rainbow House Verona Anti-Discrimination Center (CAD), in collaboration with the Equal Opportunities Committee (Comitato Unico di Garanzia) and the PoliTeSse Research Centre of the University of Verona, is organizing an afternoon of discussion and training dedicated to the relationship between discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, health, and rights.
Through contributions from experts, activists, and institutional representatives, we will explore:
- The networks and tools available to combat homo-lesbo-bi-transphobia, with particular attention to the role of the CAD as a local support and protection service;
- The impact of discrimination related to sexual orientation and gender identity on physical and mental health;
- The specific issues affecting migrant contexts.
The event will take place on Wednesday, May 20, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., in Room SMT.09 – Santa Marta Campus, University of Verona (Via Cantarane 24).
