Arianna Mainardi holds a PhD in Information Society from the University of Milan Bicocca. She currently teaches ‘Social Media’ at the University of Bergamo and ‘Feminism and Religion in Digital Context’ at Sciences Po. Her research intertwines digital cultures, bodies and gender relations, qualitative research methods, and social movements. She has been a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Milan Bicocca, l’École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, and at the Institute of Human and Social Sciences of the Scuola Normale Superiore. She is on the board of ATGENDER – The European Association for Gender Research, Education and Documentation.
