Daniela Pianezzi is Senior Lecturer of Organization Studies and Human Resource Management at the University of Verona (Italy) and visiting fellow at the University of Essex (UK) and the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies of Pisa (Italy). Her research interests focus on work identity, organizational ethics, gender theories, management control and precarious work. She has published in a number of international peer-review journals including Gender Work and Organization, Journal of Business Ethics, Human Relations, International Review of Administrative Science, Critical Perspectives on Accounting and she is on the editorial board of the journal Organization and the Journal of Accounting in Emerging Economies (JAEE). Her current research projects are about the working lives of transgender persons in Pakistan and initiatives of gender mainstreaming in Japan.
